Lentils with cottage cheese | KokCadeau
This was the dish that I tweeted yesterday. It proved another success for the visit. The cottage cheese makes the lentils very nice and creamy. famous food in india This is highly recommended if you first lentils.
Serves 4 2 leeks 400 gr.groene lentils (red lentils for soup) 1/2 l water 1 tbsp vegetable stock 2 tsp tarragon (dried) 2 tsp mustard dash of sweet vermouth (eg. Martini) fresh thyme (much) famous food in india 4 large el. cottage cheese
Cut the leeks into fairly large diagonal rings. Fry the leeks now much butter famous food in india in a large (soup) pan, come here in the lentils. Make sure the leeks are not too many colors, but beautiful translucent. Add the lentils, water, broth and tarragon and cook about 15 minutes, until lentils are tender. Remove the thyme leaves from the stalks, cut them but not fine. Put all of the heat and add thyme, mustard and vermouth through. Leave the pan with lid stand until everything is ready to serve. Before serving cottage cheese a good olive oil mixing.
